Lunch with the maestro.

Matthew Garrahan of the Financial Times sits down with David Fincher. Alongside House of Cards, they discuss his memories of Rear Window and what attracted him to Se7en. Fun fact: I had no clue he started in advertising for Bud and Nike even before he shot Vogue and so on in the 80s.

I gave in and watched the pilot for House of Cards last night. Thoughts to follow shortly, after I’ve seen episode two. All I’ll say for now is: it’s vintage Fincher. Do yourself a favour and take out a short-term Netflix subscription.
