Letter of the day.

You can understand why The Telegraph can ignore dissenters like myself messaging them, and instead only make room for yet two more anti-gay marriage letters, when they have pressing issues like this that need airing:

SIR – I am becoming increasingly irritated by the use of the word toiletas a verb.

Someone on the radio yesterday spoke of the benefits of a drug which enables dementia patients to dress themselves, wash themselves and “toilet” themselves.

My late mother fell at home and the medical notes stated that she fell while “toileting”. In fact she fell over coming out of the bathroom. Had she been coming out of the kitchen would the notes have read that she fell while “kitchening”?
